Introducing a new series here on the blog, ‘Reviews by Strangers’.
It’s one thing to have your mom or your BFFFFF or guy you once dated three times, say something about your book online, nice or not nice. But it’s another kettle of prawns entirely when it’s someone you don’t know and have never met. Someone who isn’t picking your book up inspired by a charitable or uncharitable heart.
A review by that rare, endangered individual, an independently motivated book buying and reading member of society.
Here are four reviews of Dutch Courage. I warn you, it’s not always pretty, but then that’s the beauty of it.
Dutch Courage (Penguin SA) and The Wrong Knickers for a Wednesday (Harper Collins UK/Maze) are available here and here.
