i thought this would be apt today, as it’s apparently going to be something like a billion degrees here.

look, some clever sausage took an old army tank and turned it into an ice cream truck.

brings new meaning to chocolate frosted bombs. yummy.

smart or what?

i wonder if those cannons are still operational, and whether they shoot out those granadilla ice cream lollies?

*(totally irrelevant aside: where do they get the pips from for these lollies? it’s always fascinated me. do they come out of real granadillas? and if so is someone picking them out, or do they have a machine that does that? sorry if you’re not from SA you may not know what this is, i tried to find a picture on the internet of a granadilla ice cream on a stick with real granadilla pips, but i couldn’t find one. i’ll keep looking)

this could be the start of a whole campaign. we could make library’s out of those old army trucks and shoe shops out of what were once police vans.
