ok, i have officially declared today a no smut day here on ‘a million miles’.
well if there’s no smut, you’re probably wondering what on earth we’re going to talk about now?
awkward silence.
well it’s been intern season at work for the last couple of weeks. we broke the first three and never heard from them again, i think the longest they lasted was about two days. but two boys managed to stick it out. both copywriters, both smart and talented. both two of the worst spellers i’ve ever come across.
i know, copywriters who can’t spell? that’s kind of like a squeamish doctor.
i charged them both a cent each for every spelling mistake. that should see to january’s bond payment, and drinks are on me.
anyway, so it got me thinking about the dangers of bad spelling in good businesses.
yes dude, you’re ambelievable!

seriously guy, does your rebellion have no respect?
‘imermanence is forever’? do you think she meant ‘impermanence’? there’s so much irony here i don’t even know where to begin.
she should either see a doctor about that, or she should stop tasting it.
for him the ultimate tragedy, for us the ultimate comedy.
to? too? two? shame.
aaaaaaah! For a pedant like me this is like watching a HORROR movie!
little miss, i can’t believe this is scarier for you than the previous two posts!
HMMM good point! …um…I’m gonna take the fifth! ( aka s35(1)(a) in South Africa; doesn’t quite have the same ring though, does it!).
you are such a legal eagle, you crack me up!
… thank goodness I’ve never been tempted to get a tat … I have enough scars decorating my body as it is …
I once saw a pic of a young woman with a large part of her body tattooed and couldn’t help wondering what her artwork will look like once she gets old and starts to shrivel up …
