Exciting news here at A Million Miles from Normal Headquarters.
It all started around November last year, when I went for lunch with author friends Sarah Lotz and Helen Moffett.
We’d been meaning to lunch for some weeks to celebrate the excessively talented Sarah’s insane success, after she sold a book called ‘The Three‘ in a phenomenal international deal. (The Three should be out next year I think. Listen, I’ve seen into the mind of the person who is currently birthing it, and i can guarantee some genius here.)
Over a couple of glasses of something or other, we got chatting about collaborating and things of that nature.
Sarah suggested a choose your own adventure erotic novel, and next thing you know here we are, the three of us, getting ready to send off the first draft of the first book in the series.
It will be out around June/July in a number of countries around the world (Friend, Anna from Finland, it’s coming your way) and is entitled A Girl Walks Into a Bar. It’s erotica with a twist.
My Google search history now seriously needs to be rated x.
So friends of this blog, flipping amazing Sunday Times Column readers, fantastic people who’ve read my first book, or my second book, or rock stars who have read both, and been patient enough to wait for something new, at last I can offer you a whole book full of what is hopefully some fun, funny, different, sexy, smutty, romping stuff.
The upside of this whole thing is that we’re going to get to work with some incredible people and publishers from around the world, and be part of a series of books I’m truly proud of. And the downside is… no there really is no down side here.
I’ll keep you posted as we embark on the process. Again, thanks for sticking by me, swinging by here on occasion, and being slightly less than normal.
Whoop whoop, champagne all round, porn for everyone!
yay for smut, yay for champers, yay for porn. yay for the printed word. and yay for the blogged word too of course.
Yay for Wesley!
Yay for Whisky!

(I could go on all night.)
(Don’t worry, I won’t.)
You should put the “I could go on all night” bit on your online dating profile. It will surely attract some interest….
Eeeeeek! This is so awesome. I’m hoping the UK will be on the list of places it’ll be published?!
Hi Robynne, yes, coming out in UK in June/July as an ebook, and a couple of months later as a paperback. xxx How are you enjoying your new home?
Fifty Paiges of Pink? Ok, maybe not.
YAY for sexy and intelligent authoresses … and lots more awesome books!!
